Everett's US Election Prediction Model

note - it may take a few minutes for the graph to load...

Fast Facts

  • The 2024 United States Presidential Election is on Tuesday, November 5th in the U.S.

  • Kamala Harris is the Democratic Parties candidate for president

  • Donald Trump is the Republican Parties candidate for president

  • The US utilizes the electoral college system where the winner of each state gets all of that state's “electoral votes”

    • This means the winner of the popular vote can lose the election which happened in 2016 when Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump

  • The race will come down to seven “swing states”: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

  • The race is a dead heat at the moment, polling right now can tell you that it’s a tie but not who is winning.

Congress

  • In addition to the Presidential Race the United States will also elect its two houses of congress: The Senate and The House of Representatives.

  • Both are also likely to be incredibly close.

When to Watch?

  • Election Night coverage will begin at midnight on November 6th Swiss Time although it is entirely possible the result will not be clear until the morning or even a few days later.
